- Get your admin sorted. Log in to your Interworking account and run through our checklist to cover off flights, visa, insurance and accommodation.
- Sign any required documentation with your host company and introduce yourself to your new colleages. If you need any help in relation to your placement, just email us.
Your Admin Checklist
- Start looking at flights. You’ll fly into Taipei Taoyuan international airport (TPE). There are direct flights from London with China Airlines and Eva Air which can be surprisingly good value. The cheapest routes tend to be via the gulf (Etihad, Emirates etc.) or via Mainland China (Beijing / Shanghai / Shenzhen / Guangzhou).
- Start familiarizing yourself with the Taiwan Youth Mobility Visa application process here: https://www.roc-taiwan.org/uk_en/post/32.html.
- Get some quotes for travel insurance. Start with some comparison sites and ensure you are covered whilst in an office environment as part of your trip.
- Pay the balance of your Interworking programme fee. Create your Interworking account and log in to make a payment.
